02.01.08 Bell Canada Signs with RBM

RBM Technologies, Inc., the leader in merchandising management and control software, announced today that Bell Canada has signed an agreement with RBM to provide its flagship Visual Merchandising Manager product suite for Bell's Canadian retail and dealer network. With this pact, RBM is now servicing the two largest US wireless retailers as well as one of the largest wireless retailers in Canada. As Randy Greene, CEO of RBM, explained "Our technology suite fits all types of retailers, but it is especially well appreciated by the retailers in the highly competitive and rapidly changing wireless and financial industry sectors. In the absence of a applications like the RBM suite, these companies are struggling to manage the constant streams of new merchandising and specialized promotions to their stores. With our application suite, they are not only regaining control of the visual merchandising process but also simplifying and improving it from all perspectives."

01.23.08 RBM Announces Digital Display Management Extensions

RBM Technologies, Inc., the leader in merchandising management and control software, unveiled today an extended addition to its product line aimed at helping retailers create, manage, and distribute electronic content to advertising fixtures such as LCD and plasma displays.

As explained by Ray Ferrara the COO of RBM, the new product extensions are a natural fit to RBM's existing strengths in monitoring and controlling the distribution of physical marketing collateral. "We can now fully integrate all aspects of distribution of advertising and merchandising material across all channel," Ray explained. "In fact, our software allows clients to switch out plasma and LCD content on demand in less than one second of a remotely-initiated request. We can also pre-load playlists days or months in advance if needed, and allow switching at pre-defined intervals, including programmed switching to TV or Cable channels. Together with our real-time web cameras, our software now allows truly complete content creation, monitoring, and distribution of both physical and electronic content across entire retail networks."

RBM also recently announced extensions of its product set for Europe and Asia wireless and retail operators.

11.25.07 RBM FrontLineT New Functionality Release

RBM Technologies is excited to announce new functionality released November 25th for its RBM FrontLineT Merchandising ManagerT application. The system now allows for users to create their own fixtures within the application, generate automatic printing/planogram reports and individual store pick and pack slips. Clients are expecting productivity and efficiency gains of 25 - 50%.

Create Fixtures: Each admin user can now create a new fixture within the application with a matter of clicks and then launch the new fixture out to the appropriate locations via the "F ixture Launch" functionality. A user can adjust the size, positioning and quantity of containers (areas on a shelf, fixture or wall that hold merchandise, signage, posters, inserts or pricing strips) with a click and drag interface. Once the fixture is finalized, the user can then planogram the fixture with the appropriate contents and then distribute the planogram electronically to each and every store in a matter of seconds. This is the quickest and most efficient manner to communicate new merchandising sets and fixture placement to store managers.

Generate Automatic Print Reports: RBM FrontLineT Merchandising ManagerT now allows users to automatically calculate print requirements for new in-store promotional posters, inserts and pricing strips. The live up to date data drives the reports guaranteeing each store is receiving the precise quantities required. RBM is helping save as much as 50% in costs of p rinting promotional posters and printed materials.
